Copyright Partmaster Ltd 2010  Driveline is a term that is commonly used to describe the under-car driving components of your vehicle.  Partmaster cover most major components including: Constant Velocity (CV) Joints CV Boots Universal (Fast Fit) CV Boots Universal Drive Shaft Joints Driveshaft Couplings Centre/Hanger Bearings    Wheel Bearing Kits Wheel Hubs CONSTANT VELOCITY (CV) JOINTS Over 60% of motor vehicles are now front wheel drive. Constant Velocity Joints and Shafts connect the transmission to the wheels. The joints allow the wheel to move up and down and steer while the wheel is rotating. Like all moving parts, CV Joints deteriorate over time and require replacement. If clicking noises are heard, particularly when turning, your CV Joints may need replacing. The most common cause of the CV Joints deterioration is the splitting or tearing of the rubber dust boot. This allows road grime and water to enter the joint  thus reducing its life.   New in stock are Sports CV Joints - high performance joints for Skyline GTR, Honda CRX, Civic & Integra. CV BOOT KITS We stock a comprehensive range of CV Boot Kits for passenger vehicles, vans and 4WDs.  All boots come as a kit complete with metal clips for maximum life and CV Joint Grease. We also stock multi-fit CV boots, which are unique in that two part numbers cover the entire range of passenger vehicles and 4WDs on the New Zealand market.  There is no need to disassemble the joint, as they are installed by stretching over a cone or by using an air tool to expand them.
